Fintech software development in Nigeria, for products that move money

Musskart Lab builds fintech software in Nigeria: wallets funded in Naira, VTU and bill payments, lending platforms and reseller systems, with security, records and audit trails designed in from the first screen. Fintech apps start from ₦2.5M and platforms from ₦4M, quoted in writing.

What we build

Wallets, VTU, lending and reseller platforms

Software that moves money has to be right every time. Balances must add up, every transaction must leave a record, and your team must be able to see and correct what happened.

  • Wallets funded in Naira, with a full history of every transaction
  • VTU and bill-payment apps for airtime, data, electricity, cable TV and exam pins
  • Lending platforms with identity checks (BVN and NIN through licensed providers), credit assessment, repayment schedules and audit trails
  • Reseller platforms, such as SMM panels and virtual-number services
  • Admin dashboards with reconciliation, so your team can match the platform’s records against the payment provider’s
  • Payments built around Paystack, Flutterwave and Korapay

Licences are yours to get. We build the software. Approvals from the Central Bank of Nigeria, the FCCPC or the SEC belong to your business, and we’ll point you to the official sources. For lending apps, our guide to the loan app licence in Nigeria walks through the FCCPC’s rules, and for resellers our guide to starting a VTU business covers registration, data protection and what to do before you take a customer’s money. This is general information, not legal advice.

What to settle first

The questions that shape a fintech build

Who holds the money? In most products the money moves through a licensed payment provider, and the software records balances, transactions and settlements around it. Decide this first, because it decides which licences, accounts and checks you need.

Who must you identify? Lending and wallet products usually need identity checks, which we connect through licensed providers. The more you verify, the more personal data you hold, and the more you must protect it under Nigeria’s data protection rules.

What must be recorded? Every change to a balance, every approval and every correction should leave a trace that your team can read and an auditor could follow. We build that record in from the start, because it is hard to add later.

What is the first version? A lean first version, built around one core workflow, lets you launch, learn and fund the next stage. Our pricing page shows the starting price for a first version.

How a fintech project runs

From the rules to a live product

We start with what the product must do and which approvals it needs, and we write the price down before any build begins.

  1. Scope and quote

Tell us what the product does, who uses it and where the money moves. We send a written scope, a timeline and a price in Naira.

  2. Design the flows

Every screen, every approval step and every report is designed and agreed before production code is written.

  3. Build and test

We build in milestones, connect the payment and identity providers, and test the money flows, including the failures, on real devices.

  4. Launch and hand over

We deploy, train your team on the dashboard and hand over the code and every account in your name after final payment.

Questions

Fintech questions

Describe your idea and we’ll tell you plainly what it would take.

Ask on WhatsApp
How much does fintech software cost in Nigeria?

At Musskart Lab, fintech apps start from ₦2.5M and fintech platforms from ₦4M. Wallets, many kinds of user and identity checks push a project up, and your written quote gives the exact figure. See all our prices in Naira.

Can you get us the licence or approval we need?

No. Approvals from the CBN, the FCCPC or the SEC belong to your business. We build the software and point you to the official sources, and we are happy to explain what the software must record to support an application.

Can you build a loan app?

Yes. We built the Elite Creed lending platform, with identity checks, credit assessment, repayments and a dashboard for loan officers. Read the loan app licence guide first, because a lender needs approval before it lends.

Can you build a VTU or bill-payment app?

Yes. We built the NaijaTopup platform for data, airtime, electricity, cable TV and exam pins, paid from a Naira wallet. Our guide to starting a VTU business in Nigeria explains the business side.

Can you take over a fintech app another developer built?

Usually, yes. We look through the code first and tell you plainly whether it makes more sense to fix it or to rebuild it.

Who owns the code?

You do. Once the final payment is made we hand over the source code, the design files and the accounts in your name, so you can take them to any team.
