The problem

Credit people could secure, but couldn’t get

Many salaried workers, business owners and drivers in Nigeria need credit and can offer a vehicle as collateral, but banks rarely serve them quickly. The paperwork is slow and branches are few, while informal lenders are expensive and opaque.

Elite Creed wanted the whole process online: apply, verify, assess, disburse and repay, with a clear record of every step.

What we built

Three surfaces, one secure system

An application portal for borrowers, a credit engine behind it and a dashboard for loan officers, each secured separately.

Application portal

Borrowers create an account, submit their details and vehicle documents, choose an amount and accept the offer.

Identity checks

BVN, NIN and ID documents are checked through licensed verification providers, and mismatches are flagged.

Credit assessment

A rules-based workflow, so a loan officer can see why an application passed or failed.

Secure documents

Files are encrypted at rest, tied to one application, never at guessable addresses, and deletable on request.

Disbursement and repayment

Nigerian payment gateways for money in and out, with schedules, reminders, default flags and reconciliation.

Loan officer dashboard

Review, approve, track and audit every loan from one place.

Decisions

The choices that mattered

  • Decisions you can explain. Scoring follows clear rules instead of a black box, so every approval or rejection can be explained to the borrower and to an auditor.
  • Data protection from the start. Consent capture, collecting only what’s needed, breach-ready logs and separate admin duties, with CBN rules and the NDPA in mind.
  • Licensing stays with the lender. The platform is built to support the licensing process; the licence itself is the client’s responsibility.

Your lending product

Thinking about a lending app?

Read the rules first. Lending in Nigeria is regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria and, for digital lenders, the FCCPC. We build the software; the approvals are yours to get. Read our guide to the loan app licence in Nigeria before you build.
